Author Guidelines

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
1.
Registration is required to attend the symposium. Registration can be done online www.srim.info / Botswana.


2.
Abstracts describing original work are invited in any of the sub-themes for both oral presentations and posters. Select the format (presentation or format) from the appropriate submission category.


3.
Abstracts should clearly specify the core idea and the context of the research or practice. Insufficiently developed abstracts
will not be selected.


4.
The Abstract consists of the following information:
Title, indicating what the presentation is about.
The format and structure should be clearly expressed.
Name, email address, title and institution/organisation of each author.
Name of the sub-theme to which you are submitting to.
3-5 key words.
Abstracts should have a word count not exceeding 300 words.

Abstracts should be in English only.


6.
Participants may submit only one individual oral presentation abstract or one individual poster abstract.


7.
Participants may submit more than one co-authored oral presentation and/or poster abstracts.


8.
All abstracts will be reviewed for individual quality and, if accepted, will be assigned to a session or grouped into sub-thematic sessions by the LOC. The LOC reserves the right to reclassify submitted abstracts into the most appropriate sub-theme or session or presentation format.

  1. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.

Authors who submit to this conference agree to the following terms:
a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial presentation at this conference.
c) In addition, authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) at any point before and after the conference.
